makeshift water reservoir

Will it be a good idea to use a Rubermaid tupperware container for a cheap resrvoir !?!? until i can get a decnet one!?!?

I'll let you know after I've been using mine for a while:D

The only thing I have heard of that would be a problem is that water wetter can possibly corrode it. I have heard people say their plastic reservoirs have been destroyed in weeks and others say they've been using em for years.
