Guys my stepping on my 1ghz tbird is axia 0123 is this a good stepping, and is there a site or something that tells you the best steppings?

i think athlonoc.com has explanations and comparisons of tbird steppings. go check it out

Just a day or so ago had the same ? from someone else. I'll answer again :)

The AXIA stepping has tended to be one of the most successful oc'ers, but the AXIA y tends to do better than the AXIA 9 (any number) :D

my stepping is an AHYJA-9, not really great. But as long as it lets me oc, its fine with me.

AthlonOC used to have a chart with cpu steppings. It may still be cached by google if you look for it. THey usually came up first in the search.

Anyway. AXIA is good. Also look at the line below AXIA on the cpu and see what the first character is. 9 is ok, Y is very good. I don't remember the others.
