I read long ago that the 7500 radeons had different versions of ramchips found on the retail packages. I heard the earlier ones came with 4.0ns ram and the newer ones came with what I understand, 3.6-3.8ns hynix ram?

I was just wondering how can you tell what ram you have? My ramchips are hynix but I have no idea if I've got the newer releases or the older releases. I don't really care but was just pondering the thought :)

Just look at the RAM chips themselves and look at the last two digits on the chip. That tells you what speed you have. 40=4ns, 38=3.8ns, 36=3.6 etc etc :)
