So what I thought were RAM problems are likely HDD problems :(
I have 2x 400GB 7200RPM Seagate drives, that I have had since 09/2006.
I got SeaTools and started to run diagnostics:
Drive "C" = OS drive = some games / music / etc
Drive "F" = 2nd drive = games / music / etc
Both fail SMART test instantly
Drive C fails "short drive self test" and "long drive self test"
Drive F completes "short drive self test" and "long drive self test"
Both complete "short generic"
Haven't tried long generic yet.
Any takes on what's going on here? Seems drive C is full of issues, but F just fails the "SMART" test?
