its at least advisable to have the minimum spec standard flow design even on water yes.

92mm seems a little odd size to find in the front of a case these days but it wont hurt to have more airflow :)

not sure whats a good one without going off and having a look, how much depth (thickness) of fan can you fit in the space?

may be noisy whatever we find, its within what I call "screamer" size :D

i can fit 25mm thick fan. i have a mid tower case. just wondering if i need one seeing the graphics card and cpu are water cooled. i have a 92mm exhaust for the back of my case. was thinking of putting 92mm fan in the front for intake fan.

my specs

amd athlon II x4 630 2.8 Ghz
asus m4a78l-m
4 GB ddr2-800
hd4870 1GB
wd 640GB

dd cpx-1 pump apogee gt,black ice micro II, mcw60, mcr-120,t line

1 92mm exhaust fan

It couldn't hurt. It should help cool the other components in the case like Vreg, n/b, s/b & ram. Even with w/c you should keep the air moving. What fan are you using on the rear of the case? What case are you using?

not sure of the case i have it was a barebones kit i bought 3 years ago

here a pic without the gpu cooled

You could always pick up a couple of these to install in the front and rear fan mounts. Cheap, good cfm and not that loud:

More money:

Even more money but the best in my opinion for your use:

Edit: I would try an cut out the fan holes to allow better air flow. I don't think it is worth spending more money on fans without letting the breath.

what would be a good 80mm fan for black ice micro II rad? i have low speed yate loons on it now that pull about 25cfm at 2000 rpm and 26 db

the scythe looks like a screamer to me but the rad is dense it has 20 fpi. i wish i had room for 240mm rad

To get the proper cooling you will need some high rpm fans like the Scythe. The Evercools would do. It is hard to say with those tight fined rads and that small of a fan. IDK

i order these fans. think that should work. bot quiet as loud as the scythe. moves a little bit more air.

Just make sure they are pulling air into the case on your rad as Dual Ball-Bearing fans will give you fits hanging upside down from the top of the case. the back of the fan should be on the bottom when mounted on the top of the case. Those Koolance fans will be as loud as the Scythe fans. Koolance under rates them.
