my marks on 2001 have dropped drastically in the last while from 2500 to 500 any suggestions as to where to start ??

Well presuming you haven't changed anything major in the meantime, a clean install of your display drivers would be a good start methinks.

happily I messed with settings a bit ....1024/768 display 16 bit color, 3dmark2001 is 2868...is this the norm or can we get much higher??

That score sounds about what you should expect, although you should be running the test in 32bit. The latest drivers may help a tad if you haven't already tried those.

ran the test 32bit results are 2728 3d marks 2001,
any suggestions pn raising it a tad?
I am o/c'd from 153.3/153.3 to 180/180mhz

180 for that ATI..jesus...my only hits 170...
Anyway I get like 2698....
And this is with an AThlon 550 at 605...
I think you card is maxed, but you may want to try upping the memory latency..sometimes this works other times it causes lockups..

I think it is at it's maximum 180/180 maybe a heatsink fan, any thoughts???
