I have a old pentium 2, looking to make it into a file server
Reason I'm thinking about it is I perfer not to cultter my personal desktop with files also the benafits of running in RAID.

Mobo: BE6 (11/08/99-i440BX-W83977-2A69KA1UC-PL)
RAM: 512
OS: Win2kpro

My question is, whats the max hard drive size I could get that the system would reconize and how many could I putt in RAID.

I'm hoping to get 1TB in RAID which might be pushing it.

Or is it better to go out and buy a new server mobo for 130+ for higher HD size and quanity.
