hehe, just wondering who knows their stuff in here.

check out my sig for part details. ambient temp is 78F

guess my temps at idle for the cpu and gpu
 
ooo, good start, but your guessing a 20C swing on the cpu and 25C swing on the gpu. the swing is more like 5 for the CPU and 5 for the GPU

you could know everything in the world there is possible to know, but still get your temps wrong.

there is far to many variables to guess which is why we cannot answer peoples questions on what we think their temps will be.
 
lol, this is great....

Spawn and Conundrum = sticks in mud!
Andrew = sees the outside the box (and question)

2cents = winner (or closest anyways!)

CPU Idle 28c - 31c
CPU Load 36c - 44 c

GPU 35c Idle
GPU Load 48c

actual
CPU Idle 32c
CPU Load don't know, never loaded it fully

GPU 34c Idle
GPU Load don't know, never loaded it fully

and now back to Andrew, to hit the 3.8, I just changed the multipler, no other mod. I am pretty sure this 965 will hit much higher, but don't really need it right now. the most performance this pc sees is Bad Company 2
 
Why make people guess load temps if you don't know them yourself?

and i agree with spawn... idle temps mean very little... GET SOME LOAD ON 'EM!!

Is a overclocked 6800 XT junction temp of 108 degrees Celsius okay? It maxed out at 111 degrees Celsius for a second too which seems bad.
