I have a Quantum Fireball EL that I want to run some diagnostics on and am looking for the software for that drive. Like WD has their own tools for setup and repair, I need to know who bought the manufacturing rights to Quantum. Their website only shows tape drives so I suppose they no longer support the HDDs.
I was thinking it was Seagate but I'm not sure.

Any help?

Thanks!:)

Maxtor bought them out... before they did though fry's had a big sale on the Fireball's.. I got two 30gigs 7200 for 99$ apiece. The quantums have 8.5 seek times too.... Check the maxtor sight for info, they still honor the quantum warrenties.
