im needing a new PSU for my Thermaltake Xaser III case. is this any good

im running a socket A MOBO at about 1.8GHz i think. nothing special in it. hell i only have 1GB RAM in it. is this PSU any good for 40 bucks. let me know. thanks

I second the motion.
The PSU Rolling Thunder linked is very, very good.
I had one and abused it heavily, it didn't even blink.
Question:
Does your socket A mobo have a 4pin CPU power connection?

Atill plenty of HP on the 3.3 and 5v though I would imagine...

I know the Corsair is a higher quality unit, but has a lower rating on the 3.3v & 5v combined rails (130 vs 165) which would make the Cooler Master a better fit for a socket A board. Those were the rails that powered the cpu and mem along with most other things on the MB.

no it does not have the 4 pin mobo connector. just the 20 pin atx.

I would check and see if E-Wiz still has some Sparkle PSU's in stock.
