W95 Error message

I had worked on a laptop with In Windows 95 that had some viruses. I forget what they are called but I can post that latter if needed.

What we did was use InnoculateIT personel edition to clean the viruses. The viruses were removed. Niow when ever the computerr starts up it gives the error message with the title "Long File Name Backup" and says "Bad Command Line formate". There is only an Ok button.

Does anybody know what can be done?

I am not sure, but maybe you can reload the sys files with the Windows 95 boot disc before the OS loads up. To do this start the comp up with the boot disc in the floppy drive and when it loads into dos prompt (A:/) type in sys. That might help. Hopefully you get a few more posts that might be able to help more. :beer:
