By writing I mean literal storyline. Not bad translation ie: All your base are belong to us.

Im playing and thoroughly enjoying Uncharted. Not the most original game, a little Tomb Raidery and a lot Indiana Jonesy but the story is decent so far, then I get to a point where there are Nazis, okay I get this with being Indian Jonesy and all but then come monsters in dark corridors and it gets all Resident Evil and Doom on me. That was the jump the shark moment for me. The game is about a treasure hunter and the storyline is somewhat believable and then they bring F-ing monsters into the game. MONSTERS! WTF??? Talk about running out of ideas. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg couldnt have done worse. Ok, they did but with aliens.....sigh

Anybody else care to tell their bad story writing/jump the shark moment?

Hahahha... That was NOTHING compared to Uncharted 2!

And it still fits the Indiana Jones thing where they've got ghosts and mummies and whatnot.

I was playing this game.... went through world after world... dungeon after dungeon...

fought fantastical beasts....

And all I got was "Your Princess is in Another Castle".

just a cheap attempt to make me play another 'world' after i already beat the dang game and the boss at the end! And it wanted me to do it over and over many times!

:p

I felt like Modern Warfare2 jumped the shark with "holy crap the soviets are invading america and we had absolutely no warning at all"

Okay maybe the entire plot for MW2 was just a jump and like 60 sharks
