I saw a page (http://www.fileplanet.com/fileblog/archives/2010/04/entry_3542.shtml) with some Crysis mods, I was wondering if they were any good. I realize there's a large number of mods for other games, and I want to hear your experiences.

I've tried some mods for HL1 engine in the past, goldeneye and some random vampire ones, those were always amusing. I've also tried the HL2 cinematic mod, although I can't say it blew me away it looked pretty nice.

I figure hey, it's 2010 and with the game engines of today should be some crazy stuff out there. Tell me what's the best!

I liked the crysis maps, which are a single player level, but their fun. However the stupid AI in rainy days got me frustrated and I ended up not completing that one. UT3 has some cool mods, like the haunted, but most are not really that populated. But there are some free ones on the UDK.

AMAZING:
Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat
Half Life: Natural Selection
Half Life 2: The Hidden

Entertaining:
Half Life 2: Goldeneye Source
Half Life 2: Source Forts

I have not really tried anything in the way of mods for newer games.
