Hi,
Just a few words please on the Western Digital Caviar Black 64MB SATA ( 6GB/sec?) performance for part time flightsim and MS OFFICE over the 32MB ( ? ) versions. Size: 1TB.

SATAIII (6GBs), Has no benefits either 64 or 32. SataIII spec is more for solid state drives. Mechanical drive with a sata3 spec is all marketing, don't fall for the hype.

Even SATA drives up til recently where under SATA I speeds yet they where SATA II drives... even then they are bearly breaking SATA I speeds.
As for the Cache on the drive... you won't notice any difference. If the same price sure why not get more cache, but otherwise it doesn't make a difference.

I got two of the WD caviar black 1TB 64Mb cache Sata3(6.0Gbps). They just arrived today. The only reason I bought them was they cost the exact same price as the Sata2(3.0Gbps) last sunday when I ordered them.

yeah same, it was actually cheaper than the SATA II one for me .
