i hate my ups guy, i want to smack him. every time he delivers somthing light to my house he throws the package at the door from 20ft away :mad: why cant he just walk to the door and set it down? grr
anyway, i bought my oem 1.2ghz tutalain celeron but i open up the box and they sent me a retail cpu?!? at this point im ****ed cuz im thinking i got a malay chip :( then i open it up and guess what it says. PHILIPPINES!!! w00t! :D i paid $92 for a retail philippines chip hehe
another odd thing, the heat spreader is lapped :confused:, its a near mirror shine and i can see myself in it (slightly blurred though), very strange, oh well im not complaining, less work for me
well i cant test this until i get my mobo and new case :( so ill just sit here and stare at my new cpu for a while, lol.
whats the cpu code that has the most luck overclocking? (turns on the ol'man beacon ;))

ol' man posted that the better ones had a "B" in the FPO, but I have an "A", and I'm very impressed so far...but it wasn't as easy to clock mine as it seems to have been for him. He popped his right in, and went for broke. I had to beg mine first :D

My retail Tualeron 1.2 is an 'A' and it does 1.6GHz easily -- 137+ was a little of a fight though, that's why it's burning in the the cool comfort of the garage at 600MHz now!:D

Yeah I guess just cause it is a A doesn;t mean it will not OC well like pecos has shown.
