my temp on X58-UD3R + i7 920 D0 is high

i had

Core i7 Processor 920 2.66GHZ SLBEJ D0
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R
CORSAIR XMS3 6GB DDR3 SDRAM (3 x 2GB) 1600MHz
Arctic Freezer CPU Cooling Fan 7 Pro REV.2 2D

i haven't changed anything from bios stock speed

i deal temp is around 41 to 43

used prime95 for 10 min my temp went to 75 c


look like Arctic Freezer isn't that good avarge cooler or something wrong ?

at stock speeds even the stock heatsink should be better than 41C.. maybe try to reseat it and make sure that the stock settings don't have some crazy extra volts pre-set for the cpu..

i haven't toched anything from bios so its the default voltage

everything is stock 10 min by prime95

by the way how much the stock volt from the bios should be for i7 920 d0 ?

i run my i7 930 at 3.8 ghz and 1.250vcore on a gigabyte mobo. stock vcore at 2.8 ghz is about 1.15volts i believe.
