issue, windows 7 64, 3.99 usable out of 8gb

bios posts 4gb inside bios it shows 8gb, in windows cpu-z shows 8, resmon shows 4 total. wtf is going on here? cigrig. also in bios the setting for "memory remapping" is not there in the newest bios 2.20 from asrock.

ive done everything there, however everyone talks about this "memory remapping" feature but the asrock p55 extreme doesnt seem to have that anywhere.

You don't have the Memory Remap Feature option listed under the Advanced screen--> Chipset Configuration--> Chipset Settings?

ill check once again, but i didnt see it in all the options i saw.

after reseating the ram, even trying to leave 1 in didnt work, did all and now it all boots up and sees all just fine, wtf asrock.. resolved
