I have two machines. One that is running 7 64 bit and another that is running Vista 32 bit. I use Verizon Mobile to connect to the internet. I am having some issues getting the computers to connect to the same network so that I can share the internet connection. I have the usb on the desktop(7) and the laptop(Vista) connected to the desktop via ethernet. I had it working at one point and started messing around with the settings trying to get my laptop to act as a wireless router so that I could use another laptop to connect to the internet through my desktop via my laptop. The laptops are the only computers that have wireless capability. I am going to post two screens of the "Network and Sharing Center" for both comps. Any help is as always appreciated! :comp:
On a side note. Does anyone know if the Pantech UM 175 can be used to act as a wireless router while connected to the net?

I'm going off memory here, so maybe some one will have to correct me, but...
On your desktop on that screen on the left side click change adapter settings. The right click your verizon adapter and hit properties. There should be a tab where you can turn on internet sharing. This should get your first laptop connected.
You will then need to connect your first laptop to your second and follow a similar procedure, I can't help you with this though, as I've never done it. Try searching for setting up an "ad hoc" network.

I have seen the Ad Hoc wizard that I can use to set that up. I wasn't sure if that was the correct thing to do though. Thanks for your help!
