So, a new job Im starting in a week, needs a exchange solution. I figure to hit the ground running, some hosting aimed mainly for an exchange server. Eventually, once I learn a bit more, Id set up an in office server with exchange on it. Can anyone suggest some good hosting that offers exchange....or an easier solution.

godaddy does but i personally dont like all the advertisement
i would start doing it right, right from the start and host it yourself
it's pretty complicated if possible at all to port all the mail accounts from a hosting company to your hosted server.
most likely you would have to start from scratch again

Ya, but my boss is wanting something asap im pretty sure. I dont entirely have time to figure out setting it up. Ill have enough to handle with learning to manage it.

my company used to do hosted exchange services but we can't compete with what microsoft offers in terms of hosted exchange services:

An email server is not something you want to rush into. I host my own server here. I run Exchange 2003, 32Bit with Exchange hosted services. Exchange 2008 is 64bit only. Should help you in your decisions...

Google Apps may be an options for you. We are currently doing Exchange 2007 server here at work, but as a company and being non-profit, have toyed with the idea of switching to Google Apps.

Get a contractor to set it up for your company, you can learn to do the GAL updates pretty easily and learn to manage it if you're motivated. Depending on how big your company is you should consider expandability for redundancy, maybe even do it virtual.

Small like 5 to 10 man office. More discussion leads me to believe just riding someone's hosted servers will be easiest.
