Tiger Direct has K6-2+450's for sale for $35.00. These are the laptop CPU's that have 128k level 2 cache. They regularly go for more than $50.00 on ebay If you have a socket 7 board and AT case laying around, you can use one of these to put together a good backup, a system for the kids, etc. They are supposed to be good for overclocking to over 600 mhz! I was recently given an old computer that I'm going to give my mom. I checked out the board, and it could go down to 2.1V core. That is low enough for the K6-2+, so I pulled out the Pentium 133, found the setting for 75 mhz bus speed, and set the multiplier for 2. The K6 sees that as 6, 6x75=450! Much better than the 133.
