Hi everyone, ive just installed a new watercooling system for my cpu and gpu, when i boot the computer after about 15 seconds i lose the signal from my video card, i have tried connecting the gpu fan again to make sure its not shutting down automatically because one wasnt detected but it still loses the signal, and in addition the fan starts speeding up like crazy. I dont understand how it could be overheating, as i have a gpu block and memory block on the card. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Sam

I'm assuming the card worked fine before you watercooled?

Yea it was working fine before I installed the watercooling, and ive checked for leaks and havent found any

Ok if it worked fine before you watercooled, something may have happened to it while installing the block...

But lets check the simple things first, have you double checked power connectors to the card and the output cable to the monitor for loose connections?

yeah i have, but that cant be the problem because i can still see all the BIOS info when i power on the machine. it just cuts out like 10 - 15 seconds later

That does sound a bit strange... maybe the block isn't seated properly and the card is over heating...?

Sounds to me like a power issue. I think that the cooling system may be taking up to much power and its not leaving enough for your graphics. Try reseating your graphics card.

Are you able to get into bios?
