Newbie can't connect!

Hey all,
1st time poster here. I downloaded the SETI client but I can't connect in order to create the acct. Any advice? If I can browse the web (wireless LAN on DSL) should't the client be able to connect?

Seti is having bandwidth problems these days, try connecting early in the morning, or really late at night.

Problems aren't as bad as they were, but it still isn't great.

I can usually get my daily backlog (5 or 6 wu) cleared up manually
in about an hour while I'm reading/posting and researching my next rig. Keep trying every once in a while, it'll connect.

Have you checked out OCSetiTeam (http://www.ocsetiteam.com) yet?

Instructions for installing, tweaking etc, and weekly stats and stuff. Good stuff right there!

Are you using the command line client (clc)? Most of us get better results with it rather than the gui version.
