Gforce =Quadro?

I hear u could change your Gforce card to Quadro by using Rivatuner and that Quadros uses Gforce chips and there are no hardware difference.
Anyone know whats going on?
I changed my GF2 Ti- to a Quadro Pro.. can't say i see that much difference.

I'm still trying different drivers for a GF2 Ti--> Quadro2 Pro. There's a little prog called GLinfo that'll identify the card based on the openGL driver extensions, instead of being fooled by the Quadro patch. This way you can be sure it worked. I have only gotten 21.88 and 14.70 to work correctly. And even with them, I haven't seen a big difference in an OpenGL benchmark. I need to mess around with the drivers some more. 21.83 doesn't seem to function at all once quadro-patched. And 23.xx and above say they're Quadrofied, but GLinfo tells otherwise.

Still trying to sort it out... I think I might just solder the resistors and do Quadro the real way.

I never checked the GL Extensions before I mod the driver; Version 27.20 (yes it is 27.20) Beta NOT 22.70 is that normal?

I noticed the 27.30 det thread with people complaining about the 27.20 Beta... I have not have any issues with the moded 27.20beta to Quadro Pro driver for WIN2000.

PPS U know some games run faster in WIN2000? like Q3 1 more thing i have to say about WIN2k is I love WIN2k.. everthing runs under WIN2k (maby not crapy games and software) and its Smooooth. better deal than XP pro when WIN2k was new..
XP is not worth $200 bucks upgrade.. If I had that extra 200 i would get a new CPU or MOBO & Rams or better 3d card or something else

Oh any another thing.. I OCed my MOBO FBS from 100mhz to 110mhz FBS, the AGP Current Data Transfer Rate=4x74 (296mhz date rate). GPU=250, RAM400 and it dose not crash!!! GameSpy crashes all the time.. pice of Sh**
