Sandra reports it as a (Slot-1...hehe) Celeron...

CPU-Z reports it as a Celeron (correctly, w/ tA1 stepping)...

WCPUID reports it as a Pentium III Xeon...

MemTester86 (from the BIOS) reports it as a Pentium III...

Any others? probably. So, who is this masked man...err...chip?

I would imagine that it is the one that posts the ta-1 stepping. The Pentium III one is partially correct also. The Tualatin is by no means a Xeon though. The Xeon being an older, cache monster chip.

Hmm Seti Spy is not one of these programs but it does show your cpu etc.

WCPUID version 3.0f identifies the Tualeron correctly.

Oh, you ARE funny, Pinky... :D

I was just wondering how many different proggies out there detect the tA1 stepping as something other than what it is...the Slot-1 from Sandra (2002) cracks me up every time I see it. Any others that y'all know of?

Why does it not recognize your L2 cache right?
