EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT
Nvidia Ge-Force 4 Ti 4600 not so hot :(
-Yes, yes, I know sure there is lots of new features but the card still uses the same old architexture as the Ge-Force 3. This thread goes out to all the GF2/GF3 people who are wondering whether to upgrade there computers to Ge-Force4 class or not.
-At last minute, Nvidia decides to lower the clock speed and memory clockspeed down from 330/660 to 300/600, what the heck!?
-Next, all reviews show only a 15% performance increase over Ge-Force3 Ti 500 scores, and alot more only with FSAA.
-I guess the Ge-Force4 is a good card but unless you got an MX/Radeon1 card, paying $450 US, $650 CAN wont be worth it unless you are rich. Or if you need FSAA then this card will be worth every penny to you!
-In 12 months or less, you will see a WHOLE new generation of 3D graphics with a new 8 pipeline engine but around 100 million transistors. The R300 and NV30 will really be something to actually invest $450 in! I could go on and on about the NV30 but lets save that for another day
