watercooling your ram, i mean like this copper plate wit a hole drilled thru and little turbulence in its entrance, should cool the ram very well i think and water could just like pass thru either seperately or on its way to the radiator or something. wont u think this is a good idea?

i think its a good idea, but does it need to be done? is my question.
my ram is oc-ed at 143 fsb and @cas2-2-2
it doesnt even like higher voltages yet. i do get higher temps than i like on my sticks. my digidoc reads 49-50c at full load on 3dmark.
ive asked people here before if this may be limiting my overclocks becouse of heat. i never actually remember a answer to that question.
but at this point my overclocks arent limited by my ram. so as for now im leaven mine alone.

well it would make it cooler which would make it live longer and be more stabile and in some cases help overclock

that would be pretty cool, but really overkill. I read somewhere that even when overclocked and overvolted, even the fastest RAM puts out a measly 10 watts of heat. The PCB itself is more than enough to dissipate that heat. Still there is nothing wrong with overkill:)

Here is a link to what I mean, it's at Dan's Data dot com (http://www.dansdata.com/fastram.htm) in the heat spreader review section, like half way down.

i was going to watercool mine but there is no point. if you hca something like a geforce 2mx you would be able to put a peltier over all 4 ram bits - that may help

You could probably do as much just by attaching small heatsinks with thermal epoxy, but as was said before, its overkill.
