I'm not angry at all, but a bit confused :(

So I chose a entirely righteous path, ending the game with "Urban Legend".
I had Fawke as my follower, and because he is a super mutant, he is resistant to radiation.

So, I opted to send him in, being that it wouldn't kill him and Lyon and I would die. But in the credits I was played as the selfish person!

Just silly is all I'm saying.

Great game though, very immersive.

Fawkes: "I would go in there, but I don't want to deprive you of your destiny."

Me: ,,!,, fawkes

I like when the reaction chamber is commencing and getting all blurry, Fawkes starts acting confused and kicks the generator.

I had a big grin at the end of the game :D

I was like "NO FAWKES! I won't let you kill yourself for this! You have to much to live for".

I was sad about dying but it was a very satisfying moment for me. The add-on after it (broken steel? Forget the name) was good fun but the game should have ended with either you dying or managing to stop everything and being able to travel round the world. Maybe a whole new section of dialogue options and responses from people. It's one of the few games that I really got wrapped up in. The only possible thing that would have made it better is if it was like ME2 and you could have a girlfriend or something, just made the game that little bit deeper.

do you have the DLC? It brings you back alive. Anyway, I too just finished the game. By finishing, I mean all the main quests in the primary game, and the DLC.

To me, it is a great game. However, as soon as I reach the point of "the perfect character", I kind of lost motivation for the game.

Yeah, I have the GOTY edition, so I got all 5. I beat the game then woke up two weeks later, but opted to load up a save before the end of "Take it back!" mission. I still have so much side questing to do, and I sort of got carried away during the main quest, that I beat the game without discovering everything.

For example, I didn't even run into the big werewolf esque beasts with horns on their heads. I only know they exist because I watched my roommate play his guy on the xbox 360, so I witnessed some stuff.

I beat the game at level 15. I was kind of bummed that I didn't have a huge impact during that last robot fighting scene where he tramples everything(the helicoptors, the barriers, and the enclaves). I wish it was more of a skirmish like fight between the brotherhood of steel and the enclaves.

I didn't find the ending of vanilla FO3 bad at all. It was a fast paced main quest, but I think they knew when to stop it, for if it were too long it might just become like "UGh is this over yet?!"

Actually, the main quest itself is fairly short. I think it's less than 12 hours for the main quest. Playing thru the side quest allows you to get special perks and weapons. I on the other hand, forgot about the main quest and got lost into the side quest.

You don't have to "not" finish the main quest. It really didn't matter, since you revived after 2 weeks to continue the game anyway. Trust me, don't make any difference.

I hope you don't lose your motivation like I did. I lost it all as soon as I completed making the perfect character.

Started it on Friday at 2pm
Finished it on Monday at 3:20am.

Probably about 33 hours on the first play through (without DLC).

I was really addicted to it for that weekend :p Man, best gaming weekend I've had in a LONG time. Put on 2 pounds to prove it as well :D

The way I played was, I did main story till they tell u to get the sat dish for the radio station. So instead of doing that, I did tons of side quests and exploring around like (20 hours). I then started the main quest again till they tell u to go to the other vaults, well... I stopped doing the main quest and did like 20 hours of side quests and exploring till I got bored. Did the main quest again till u get to the last building. I stopped again doing some other 20 hours of exploring and side quests till I got impatient (I even found the Cockroach King). Did the main quest, took me less than an hour to finish and just to see a short and not so great ending. I was kinda disappointed. :(

The ending slideshow was super lame, but the rest of the game was so eventful and awesome I didn't care that much.
