Asus P6t Users

I haven't owned a 1366 mobo, maybe its different but I'm trying to install a megahalem on it. Do I still need to remove back plate on a asus p6t mobo? or Do I just put the back plate on top of that metal plate? Coz I noticed there is a metal plate that is part of the cpu mount behind the mobo.

leave the factory backplate and just place the mage plate on top of it

you could do that but that might cause a problem. I would advise you take the plate off and put the other one on
