almost done downloading it, i was lucky and refreshed their homepage and right as they posted the links :)
now i got a decent download speed of 56kbs

WOWOW that v2.o is schweeeet!!! such better gameplay and much better textures and maps and sounds, ahhhh its a must play mod right there.

Dod just happens to be, dare I say, the best HL mod out there :D
I d/l'ed beta 2.0 today, and wow! The game has changed so much, and for the best too!

it reminds me of RTCW now..

and it's become hella harder..

I used to be great scharfschutze... no cross hair I could shoot on the fly... and then zoom for long shots..

more realistic now tho, gonna take getting used to...

I'ev played the new version a few times... I do like the new additions. However, if you are having a lan party, be sure to use a dedicated server.... Plus, running in openGL helps the game run faster... We played at school (20) people, and a non-dedicated server could not handle that... Lots of lag. However, a great add-on to a previously great game.

It is much better than the original. There is only one problem I have found yet. You must have a dedicated server to play LAN with over about 15 people. I'm not sure about the number.

DoD 2.0 is really good if you like the capture the flag game play.
