10pm and getting wus :)

Its only 10pm berkely time, and Im able to get wus :) this is making me very very happy, as my cache was starting to run low. :) How are you guys fairing with the bandwidth issue?

Lucky, I am having problems connecting. Stupid servers are costing me major work units, along with screwing up my server. The real question is why would berkeley start up the forums, which is kewl, but during bandwidth problems? Just doesn't seem right to me. I rather do the science then chattin.

I was able to download 10 wus like it was nothing, and then, nothing. Weird, maybe everyone went and cooked up a snack all at the same time or some ****.

Edit: Make that I can get wus again. Hrm, weird.

Lately, I've found that I can download/upload at a decent rate at 4 a.m. Berkley time (6 a.m. my time). Weekends work well too.

i just bumped up my cache to 30
had some problems but its full now
luckily i live in australia and get online at night here
and its day there

Yea same problem over here.. I cant seem to upload any damn wu's and each of my machines have from 35-55 wu's just waiting to upload.. Damn this is really screwing my stats.. Thank god a month ago I increased my WU cache from 30 on each of my machines to 100... :D

I have been having fewer problems lately, although I still get between 5 to 10 a day that don't go the first time.

Slowing my linux clients down a bit, but not too bad: they usually connect the first time, and if they sit and I'm home I can get a wu from SetiQ (which is still causing me problems- 18 wu in upload queue that won't go)

My windows clients all have cache ramped up pretty good though.

Berkeley is ruinning my stats too. I think this week alone they caused me to loose over 200 work units worth. I am sittin idle baby. Every one of my computers is sittin idle....server is depleted of work units. I am waking up at 6 tomorrow and hopefully will have the server to myself. Seti Gods, I need work units and I need them bad!

Yep worked for me yesterday but it took me about an hour to get 5 WU's since I had to retry alot.
