There are so many issues related to this on the web that it is really hard to pin it down.

It seems there are video driver issues as well as Windows 7 issues. I have also noticed a lot of related RAM issues as well.

My sleep mode works well most of the time, but I still occasionally get a start up problem just like yours. Does this happen when you turn down your OC? You might try running a Memtest just to be sure its not your RAMs. Then turn back your OC for a couple of days to see if it continues.

Raised Vcore and problem with hibernation seems gone...

will see if it will help with freezing!?

Edit:

no it didn't
