Just curious if anyone has played this yet. I was disappointed in Runes of magic. The dual class especially turned me off big time on that game.
This is a super wow clone but so far i'm digging it lol. Pretty good game I guess it just came out of beta few months ago. So it's still new.
Good game tho Got a level 5 shaman right now think i'm going to make another toon tho go healer.
This game might be a little to much like wow. But as a review said that might not be a bad thing why change what works? just change the story etc take the gameplay and interface lol.

Yeah i just got to lvl 6 as a shaman its pretty decent game. So far i'm diggin it but beginning area is always boring. I will say the very first part where u are by yourself on this ship (if u play the empire like i did) it was awesome.

Not a clue, I know their is pvp. A lot of videos on youtube. I also know their is ship to ship pvp when you get high lvl and go to a raid area by ship you have a chance of running into pve or other faction heading back from a raid etc. i think.

Anyway my biggest beef so far with this game is the fatigue meter thing. Some people make a big deal out of it some don't. Fatigue you turn in at a inn keeper to get extra xp on quest etc. When you fill that blue up in the bar for the day you can get no more double xp. Btw they do not sell fatigue potions on the item mall either lol which is wha ti first thought maybe their cash cow would be. Nah looks to be most items are just regular potions and stuff so far. Haven't looked it over alot but enough.
But on my first toon i'm going to keep trying and playing the game not worrying about fatigue and see if i run out of quest to do.
One thing i heard is the end gaming raiding on this game takes time to preprare for gear wise. That you will be spending half a month to a month getting gear to be able to run heroics and hardcore raids.
BTW this game is Russian made with i think it was a 11 or 17 mil. budget. So that is one thing that made me want to try it right away no offense to the korean game developers but they have run stale from the get go for me with most games. This feels fresh but at the sametime wow all over again but good done right.
btw one kool thing i think i might try is the class called psionicist it is supposed to be i believe physical attacks with tons of disable and other type of moves, the one type of class i felt wow lacked lol.

oh...THAT game...being released here in the US by Gpotato.
I played the game for a little bit a while back. The game itself wasn't half bad. The problem is / was Gpotato.
Whenever you died, all your stats would drop by 25% for 45 minutes. This effect would stack if you died multiple times in succession.
The problem was, the item that removes that effect is a cash-shop item. You can farm for the item, but the quest takes over an hour or so to do, and you can only do it so many times a day. So if you wanted to stock up on that specific item, You had to create multiple characters, have each do the quest, and then transfer the item to your main character.
When I found that out, I quit. Gpotato has a history of screwing over the players, and making it TOO difficult to play unless you use the cash-shop. I have played a couple of their games, My half brother has played nearly all of them. They tend to focus a bit too much time on the cash shop, than the game itself.
Oh well, at least it isn't la-tale. In over 6 months, that game had received probably at least a couple dozen updates. NONE of them actually updated the game itself. Every single update that they did while I was playing, was for the cash-shop. Was funny to watch a massive number of people all leave at the same time.
I wonder if any of these companies have updated their practices. For all I know, AlloDS was fixed, and Gpotato got smart.
I had read about some "perfume" u needed for end game that u had to buy. It was a beta article or just out of beta maybe? not sure if i remember. anyway I looked through the shop and didn't see it people complained a lot about it in the thread i had read.
So they must of listened on that one.
As for dieing i died twice i didnt notice my stats lower just had to wait in purgatory or whatever or pay the goblin in myrrths or whatever their called to avoid the count down.
I guess in all games nothing is for free i'll just have to play and see what happens i refuse to play wow lol so this seems to be the next best thing.
As for Gpotato I have seen articles on them screwing a game up big time in the past lol. Hopefully they have learned from it. I don't mind spending money but if it ends up costing me over 15 a month to play i'll go somewhere else.

I really do hope Gpotato started listening to the players. I think I was playing the beta ( or it had *JUST* officially opened ), when all that perfume crap was going on. When I heard about it, I quit.
In all honesty, From what I played, The game itself wasn't half bad. Especially since it's free to play. probably one of the better ones I have played in the past.
I've been playing Maple Story ( again ) recently. I like the new Evan class. They have a pet dragon that does all the attacking for them. The dragon grows every 10 levels, Can learn every type of magic except for Poison and Healing, and you can eventually ride the dragon at around level 50 or 60.
I think they do a pretty good job with their cash shop. The game itself hasn't been nerfed to force players to use the cash shop, yet there are quite a few items in the cash shop that are very tempting to buy. Such as extra Item space ( so you can carry more stuff on you ). Though, I tend to use use other characters on my account as a mule. Transfer any Items I'm currently not using, but want to keep, to another character. Great for all the synthesis materials later on.
yeah, the game has it's flaws. And the game does turn into a pretty big grind after a certain level, but all in all, it's not a bad game.

wow that old lol. Yes i have noticed as i play more lvl 9 priest now that the game is different. Feels more lineage 2 to me actually lol not grind wise but combat wise i guess. Not sure so far its alright me and a work buddy been playing every night. First xpan is announced on their site now today coming shortly.

Got a level 6 sorcerer, I'll add you whenever I get on next, my brother started a guy too ... no idea how hes playing.
I played this for a little bit and I actually started playing WoW again.

Hmmm...maybe I'll give this a shot. Glad you're on the Empire side Rumble...as they look the coolest to me. ;)
Well came natural lol Horde = Empire least seems that way.
Don't come expecting wow tho I mean yeah its sort of a wow clone but I'd actually say gameplay wise feels more like lineage 2 (slower paced wow) and the game looks like wow tho.
lvling is slower and u tend to stay in areas longer. Actually farther i get in the game faster lvling and moving to new areas seems to be. lvl 15 right now
Just a heads up learn the fatigue system. If you ever run out of fatigue your best to stop questing and go do grind repeatable quest if u wan tot keep playing (usually if i run out of fatigue its because i've played for like 3 or 4 hours anyway lol) fatigue doubles your xp. If you quest without it their is a chance u will run out of quest and have to grind it out.
Guess they will be adding fatigue item to the shop but like i said usually takes me 3 hours to 4 of gaming to run my fatigue out.
Which it refills slowly through out the day and u get i believe a whole bar of it at 8 or 9 pst time. which is like midnight for east coast.
Inn keeps use your fatigue up and give u xp for it.
Also summoner i believe is easiest soloing class (wows warlock). But i heard scouts own and i believe dps warriors and mages and psi all good easy lvling classes i heard.
I'm a healer lol so its rough.
As always it's free 2 play but we all know that does not actually mean free lol at least if your hardcore to medicore. So far I haven't spend a penny but think i'll drop 10 bucks tonight for few buff type things off the item shop.
btw first xpan coming shortly and their adding mounts etc. So far the running around hasn't bothered me quest you just do short run to a area camp etc, get quest do the quest around the area get quest to move to next area, rinse and repeat.

pfffftt... plz don't call such a great game a wow clone. Trust me you will be immediately draw in to this game's gameplay and it amazing gms. and its FREE!!!!!! it gets regular updates to better it. You can create an amazing character without even having to spend a single dime in a Cash shop. I trully recomend that your come out and try this game. You will have soo much fun with this great communtiy and daily events. Gain gold and and pwn all. p.s plz join league :P we need more ppl againts tho imps. lol

Actually after the gipat patch imo the game took a face dive. Went from being almost insanely over crowded to a ghost town. Not sure how it is now but I quit and i was dropping usually 10 bucks every two weeks on it. The way the cursed gear thing worked really killed the game for me, and a ton of others (paying players i might add not just the freebies).
So unless they somehow fixed the game free is a joke after gipat lol. No offense either but is this you rfirst post judging from the name member level I'm debating on if your working for them or just a crazed fanatic, but do post back i'm curious if they fixed the game since gipat patch that broke it and turned in into a game that cost more then wow did per month to play.
Yes it is a wow clone as many games these days are. That's not a bad thing at all, every so often a mmo sets the bar and everyone mimic's it and comes off with there own spins tho that make them unique. Never a bad thing to copy what works then to try and do you rown thing and epic fail and lose your wallet.

You must be thinking of a different game. Allods closed beta opened in Russia in Aug 09, and released earlier this year.
And since wow went into development in 01 for a q4 04 release, I highly doubt they would have been sharing too much with them.
