Hi guys

Had this setup for a while now, but never got around to OC'ing it...

I currently have a E8500 cpu on a Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
Ram is G Skill DDR2 800

I'm having trouble stabilising @ 3.8ghz (FSB 400 x 9.5)

I managed to run Prime95 for 1 hr 10 minutes but now I'm stumped.
I'm also having abnormally high temperatures on Real Temp, with load temps up to ~68 degrees, so I really don't know if I should be hitting any higher on voltages...

My current settings are:

Strap is left at 1:1 set on 800 (2.00)
I have memory on 5-5-5-15 (default)

Cpu Vcore is on 1.34v (default 1.25 - tried this up to 1.35)
Cpu Vtt is on 1.22v (default 1.2 - tried this up to 1.24)
Cpu PLL is on 1.65 (default 1.55)
Cpu Reference on Auto
MCH Core is on 1.22v (default 1.1)
MCH Reference on Auto (Is this GTL Reference?)
ICH I/O on Auto
Dram Voltage at 2.00v (default 1.8)

I've already tweaked the rest of the bios

Hope someone can give some advice!!

Thanks all.

Try running Linx0.6.4 if it fails, up your MCH voltage till it passes. Don't worry about your CPU temp till it reaches 80c
