I need to register a domain name - any where at any usual price is fine.

Can anyone recommend a service to use for this?

I am guessing in about 1 month I will want to move that domain name to a new service / registrar - to where it will be free of charge (bundled with other services).

For now I just need to get a domain name registered.

Thank you for your help!

I suppose I should ask why you don't just wait for a month?

In any case, I use godaddy, and I've had no complaints. But domain name registration is a competitive market and it's pretty trouble-free whomever you choose to use. The only thing I've learned is that it's generally easier to go with a dedicated registrar like godaddy, rather than trough hosting packaged deals (often, they'll throw in a free domain name when you sign up for a year or whatever).

The reason for that is that you end up switching hosters more often than you do, names, usually. So it's nice to have an independent registrar.
