Just thought I would come here and brag!!
For 2 years now I have been running a Celeron600 @900mhz with 1.9volts and temps from 24c to 39c.
I thought I hit the ceiling on this chip but I was wrong! I had been looking into Peltier cooling for a little while, I always thought it was harder to setup than it really is.
I bought a PelTECH number off of Ebay, its kinda a going outa business liquidation i guess... Anyway I got a whole new Alpha 6035 to replace my existing one, along with a pre-attached 55watt peltier and copper cold plate. Very proffessional workmanship.
So, after installation?
958mhz w1.95 volts and temp at idle is -8c , under load 10c!!
I actually posted 1000mhz but it locked. Same with everything in between accept I made it farther into windows. Looks like the REAL ceiling of this chip is 958...but who knows what tomorrow will bring.
