Crap. My mom REALLY likes Boxee, and wants to go ahead and put some money into a this Celeron that i'm working on to make it work right. It needs to be able to play back HD YouTube, CBS, whatever Flash stuff Boxee pulls off the internet, and play it well... the CPU can't do it. I'm hoping by putting a low end GPU in it, i can make it do this, but i'm not sure which one. Cheap = Good. We're looking to not spend more than about $40 if it can be avoided.

oh, and it needs to be AGP.

I'd actually recommend a PCI 8400GS. Despite the bus limitation it should do just fine for the purpose, and they can be had for around $40 if you watch for sales.

Flash acceleration is still pretty buggy on ATI cards (I mean, moreso than the baseline Flash bugginess on everything), but unfortunately there are no recent Nvidia AGP cards.

Well, i just had a Pentium D with a 9400 in it dropped in my lap (dad bought a new computer), so i'll probably use that instead...

now i need another hard drive for this celeron... and another router to plug it into.
