Hi All!
This might seem like one of the more noob-ish questions around, but I just have to ask...
I'm trying to follow Miahallens guide to overclocking, and I kind of get stuck on the part where I'm supposed to set the memory multiplier. I just can't find it!
All I have in my Bios setup (As the title says Asus P7P55D) is an option to set the DRAM Frequency. It gives me "Auto", "DDR3-800Mhz", "DDR3-1066MHz", "DDR3-1333MHz" & "DDR3-1600MHz".
Now - either the presence of the multiplier option is depending on another change being made to "show up" or it doesn't exist on this MB. And I can't figure out which it is.
If it don't exist, do I just set the frequency to 1066Mhz (aiming for something around 4GHz and I have Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600 installed) and roll with that?
Edit: Or does these settings mean I force a frequency independently of the rest of my settings (e.g. set 1600 my rated 1600MHz and be happy with that?)
Thanks in advance!
