Geforce MX in Abit BX6 r2 -HELP

The MX runs fine untill I install the drivers and reboot.
Windows 98se loads up (can hear sound) but nothing but a black screen.
The monitor's LED is green so it isnt in suspend mode.
If i boot into safemode = blue screen of death.
Win98 loads properly if i put my Virge card back in.
The BX6 r2 ran my Radeon fine.

I have formated and reinstalled win98 but no go.
Anyone?

What chipset does that mobo have?

If the AGP bus is OCed, lower your AGP speed to 1x. This wont cost you much performance but will gain you a lot of stability. I run a Asus V7100 GF2-MX @1x89Mhz AGP with no problems.

What I really wanted when i ordered the card was a dual display with TV out.
What I got was VGA and DVI out.
Well i thought i would use it for now and sell it later and get another one with TV.
I think its trying to use the DVI first and the VGA for the second display. (VGA is that i have)
It doesnt state in the manual but thats what i figure.
I'm not going to bother with a adapter to get it to work, just got my RMA # to sent it back and get what i wanted in the first place.
