Hello, I have an Alienware Aurora, with a i7 920 OC'd to 3.20, 6gb RAM, ATI 5770. I am having problems overclocking my pc. In the BIOS it came with a preset option called Level 1 Overclock, it bumps the VCore to 1.288 and the RAM to 1280ghz, the CPU to 160 blk with x20 multi. But for one, my BIOS WILL NOT let me change the CPU Multiplier. But any settings over 3.20 will not boot then I have to reset CMOs. I am assuming that the Mobo wont let me overclock anymore because they mobo is made by alienware(dell.) Any ideas? Do I need to replace my mobo, if so what brand or type should I go with, obviously the LGA 1366, but is there any perferred mobo brand/type that caters to OCing?
