My computer has become very unresponsive lately and this first became evident to me in the audio while I was watching movies. I was thinking the onboard audio on my mobo was crapping out. But now videos are stuttering and even as I type thread I'm seeing a delay.

I've got a Q6660 processor
2gig DDR2 memory
NVIDIA GeFroce 7600GT
Win7 Loaded on and SSD

Could it be that my video card is crapping out? I've run dual monitors on this thing for maybe 3 years now. I don't do any gaming or anything like that. Is it time for a new card or something else causing these problems?

I have GPU-Z and while watching a basic flash video on youtube (no broadband problems) it was showing 0% GPU load. I'm really not sure. Any advice would be apreciated.

Im not even sure the 7600gt has hardware decoding in it does it? Even so it should still be fine for youtube.

Have you tried updating both audio and video drivers?

No, nothing below the 8-series had hardware video decoding.

It's most likely a software issue... have you made any major software changes lately? And checked to make sure you don't have some sort of bug lurking on your system?

What are your Temps on the card and the CPU ? when was the last time you cleaned them out ? Or a fresh Install of your OS ?
