What resolution is your monitor? If its under 1920x1080, do you plan on upgrading it?
What Power Supply do you have? Actually, your system specs would be nice too....

Save yourself $100 and get the 5870, you'll be happy with the performance for the money.

At 1680x1050, you dont need more than a 5850 really... and is that 32" monitor is 1080p (1920x1080) you will still be fine with a 5850.
PSU is fine as well as the system.

If there was only a 50 euro difference, should i get the nvidia one?

Its up to you. The GTX 470 and 480 are power hungry heaters. Your case should have decent airflow to use them. The 470 is generally faster than the 5850 and the 480 is generally faster than the 5870. But both the 480 and 5870 are too much for a small res like 1680x1050. You wouldnt be getting the most out of the cards at that resolution.

Are there new ones comming out soon? I say this cuz it might be best to wait for the price to go down as i dont really need the gfx now. Cool games comming in october and so
