Hi, I've just logged into my Yahoo mail account and found an email in my drafts folder addressed to a couple of random people on my contact list I never actually communicate with, and containing just this link: "www.ked1.uspills-c.com". It's obviously spam, but how did it get there?

I'm gonna run a virus scan in a minute but is there any other possibility I should be considering? I HATE things like this!

Looks like someone has hacked your EMail and was using it to send spam. Change your password immediately, and see if there is a potential to report it to Yahoo.

Yeah I changed it immediately, and I just noticed that two similar mails were sent to the same people about a week ago.

Sigh...

Don't use dictionary (AKA easily guessable) PW's - even for internet email ;)

Yeah, everytime i log into facebook on a friend's computer they laugh at how long my password is. Then i mention to them that my facebook has NEVER been hacked in the 3 years i've had it, while some of them can't even go a week without it getting hacked...

"Hey, dude, bob isn't a good password!" One of my friends literally had bob as their password!! Even all lowercase!!

hehe, my password is 20+ digits, random numbers and letters (upper and lower). Took a while to memorize but I've never had a problem with hacked accounts :D
