Yea...it is a good deal..i just can't think of anything that I have that will benifit it from.

I think there are a few USB3 external hard drives and Sata3 SSDs currently floating around (ext. hdd example (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007601+600003484&QksAutoSuggestion=&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Configurator=&IsNodeId=1&Subcategory=414&description=&Ntk=&CFG=&SpeTabStoreType=&srchInDesc=))

An extra $10 isn't bad to use them at their full potential.

If you have a USB 2.0 external HDD you will likely see a boost to the performance when connected to USB 3.0 port, at least based on the tests I have seen. Only on HDD though, not on a USB 2.0 thumb drive.
