Currently my housing development has a contract with Time Warner Cable where the HOA pays the bill and everyone in the community gets cable for "free". Individuals can also add on internet, phone, premium channels, etc. at their own expense.

I'm the Vice President of my Home Owners Association and I called up ATT today, because our community it tired of TWC and we want to switch over to Uverse. The ATT rep told me they don't do large contracts.

I guess I'm a bit confused: I call up and say Hi, I want to sign a contract with you for thousands of dollars a month and ATT replies: sorry we don't want your business.

Does anyone here have Uverse and do you have it for your whole apartment complex/housing development/etc.?

Maybe the rep I talked to didn't know what they were talking about, I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and transferred several times... anyone have any experience with this?

All apartments in my area have their own phone circuit with their own account so its just a matter of calling up a dsl provider and setting it up as if it were a home.

You'll probably have to get in touch with corporate for that. CS probably has no clue what to tell you.

Maybe you could call someone higher up in corporate AT&T and get some better answers, I know are subdivision goes through prime cast to use ATT for the pipes.:soda:

they will do it, you just need to contact someone in business. It's possible you'll need your PUC/PSC (Public Utilities Commission/Public Service Commission) to help you with the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough. Someone else also suggested I go into a local branch and ask, so I think I might try that.

I don't know where I would get a phone number to try going higher up with ATT... I already tried the regular consumer 1800 number and they told me to call the business line. When I tried the business line, they were the ones that told me bulk deals don't exist.
