I haven't done amd for awhile, so I don't know if this is a smokin' deal or not.
But it's cheap enough for me to dabble in amd again. I snagged this deal.

man biostar is laggin behind, they used to have alot of models at good prices to begin with but now selection is small and their prices are up.
not to mension thats only got one PCI express slot dangit.
i'm trying to find a new mobo to go DDR3 and i think i want another PCI express so i can add another 5757/5770

If you're not against getting a board that's still using DDR2,
http://www.microcenter.com/specials/promotions/0629_AMDbundle.html
Athlon II X2 250 $62.99- http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0317382
Athlon II X4 630 $95.99- http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0327513
Phenom II X2 555 Black $99.99- http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0327512
Biostar A780L MATX- http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0337465
Unsure about how good the board is, but it is free with any of the above.

I did an "un-lock" on the cpu and it didn't go too well.
I think I'm stuck with the 2 cores. Too bad.
Microcenter is offering a similar deal - processor for $90-$100 and board for free.
Some said they need to update to bios released 07/01/2010 and or up the vcore to 1.4 to make it stable

Thanks for the info DBZ.
I have to update this stock hs/f though before I mess with vcore.
