I like the feedback options:

Yeah ... played with it a little. In Windows 7 I have this HUGE ugly gray bar up top, it's not Aero like it's supposed to be, not sure why. Gonna mess with it more later on.

It kind of looks like Opera 10.60.
Talk about mixed feelings on my end.
:( :) :( :( :) :( :)
Maybe I'm not getting this feedback system.
Anyways, I already ran into bugs (Personas are all messed up, window borders and window controls), some design flaws (Firefox menu doesn't have nearly all the features that the menu has, and the menu is displaying too low), and generally nothing severe enough to make me not want to use it. After all, it is quite a bit faster.
I have a new toy to play with though.
Also I like how I was poking around the menu to find things and there was a menu user study that started to run today. Therefore, when they analyze what menu options are most frequently used to rebuild their menus they will be using non-standard data (the let us poke around data) for their study.

I am using the Beta and it seems bit more sleek and faster. Will see how it fares in the longer run. It looks similar to Chrome actually.

remember now, this is beta. don't expect a fully finished, polished product.

I enabled pipelining and damn it's fast. Load like 10 minute 1080p vids in like 10 seconds.
I also just noticed the scrolling is smoother. With 3.6 it would kind of jump while scrolling if there was a lot of animation or something. Totally smooth now.
Second edit but I had to post this. 3.6 use to use around 300 Mb of ram ( I have like 3-6 tabs open at a time) and F4 is only using 87!!!!

I gotta try that when it gets home.. 87!!! I'm used to Firefox being the most resource heavy thing up. Although I'm crazy and have nearly 14-20 tabs easily.

I have 5 tabs open, 2 have videos, one is facebook, one OC forums, and one site that is shady and the mods probably won't like me mentioning, and I'm only using 150 Mb. I used to use like 3-4 hundred doing the same thing.

all i an say is sweet =)
I am using the WebM daily preview (Minefield version 4.0b2pre). I absolutely love it and webM. I've uninstalled flash because I hate that piece of junk software. Being able to stream web videos from youtube without installing a plugin is totally awesome. Right now webM support on youtube is also in beta but it's working great for me and they have stated that they will eventually go back and backport their whole catalog so it's only a matter of time.

Downloaded the "portable" version. Works great, as fast as the installed version, but the Aero actually works in this one. No idea why Aero isn't working with the installed version for me.

On OS X it's even worse. I've only got 6 tabs open and I'm using just shy of 500MB! I've got a ton of plugins installed, which definitely doesn't help, but still...the 2x4GB RAM set I installed yesterday feels like such a breath of fresh air. :)
Also, what's pipelining?

Basically allows firefox to load multiple things at once instead of one after another. SeanBest's link will show you how to enable it. There are a few other tricks to make firefox faster, just search youtube for them.

Gotcha. Tried it out and I don't really notice much of a change (FF 3.6.7)...

It helps when loading very busy pages. Like collegehumor.com has a lot on the front page, plus they make the whole background of the page an ad. So when you go to the site without pipelining it can be a little slow but with it it is much more responsive. To me at least.

i <3 firefox... hope 4 is just as good as 3 has been to me! i wont play with it till it releases tho... always hated beta stuff.
BTW i always use http piplining but also some other things
nglayout.initialpaint.delay - 0 .... this one starts showing the page immediately instead of waiting 250ms.
and on my netbook i change or add "network.prefetch-next" to false to disable precaching which makes things kinda laggy.

Most of it was recommended to me by friends so I couldn't even tell you. They just send me what to add and I add it. Most of it is stuff to make ff faster. Some of it is ... less legit stuff.
