Does anybody know how I can convert .bmp files to .jpeg files? If there is a way without downloading a converter it would really help me out. Thank you for any information.

one way to do it is use MS pait then go to save as and select filetype as jpeg.

When I go into Paint and Print Screen Pictures from the webcam I can only save in .bmp form. It gives me 4 options but they are all .bmp or .d something. Any other ideas?

download paintshop pro. from downloads.com and that will convert them but it is only a sharware version.

Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/english.htm) is a free program that will do that and more. It is definitely worth a view.

Also if you have MsOffice there is a prog called MS Photo editor. It can do what you need it to and there is a small data foot print. If you already have office installed just add it in.
