go a 120 i used for an intake in my old case. in my current case i have the regular setup. 3 80 mm, unsure of cfm but the air flow FEELS about the same for all three. two of them are intake, lone lower front and one lower side. exhaust under psu.
what kind of mod and directions for fans if i put the 120 as the side intake.
guess. one fan came with the case and the other two are psu fans. i don't know the cfm on the 120 either but i know it's loud and it really moves some air!
just wondering how i can balance out the airflow with what i have

okay, the big fan (4 inch) is 85 cfm. would fit nicely blowing onto my radeon from the side panel.
still don't know the cfm's on the 3 smaller fans, 2 of them are psu fans. what's the size on those, sure i was wrong and they aren't 80 mm... 3 inch?
anyone know what cfm i could expect from a psu fan? believe they are all just under 3000 rpm's and the air flow seems to be very close or the same from all three. one is the one that came with my case. i really wanna get to work with the dremel tonight. if anyone could help me i'd apreciate it just so i don't feel i'm winging it. if i only have one of the case fan's exausting (plus the one in the psu exhausting. will the one smaller intake and the one bigger intake be too much positive pressure?
here's the big fan

To me, there is no such thing as to much positive pressure. It helps to keep the dust out of your case. One problem that you might run into if you do have to much positive pressure is that the air in your case will not be circulating often enough and could cause hot spots. The best way to figure out what is good for you and your case is to go to Home Depot and buy a cheap temp probe ($2.50-$4). This way you can set-up your case the way it is and see if you can find the hot spots in the case.
Also, if you have the extra $$ when you go to Home Depot, get enough clear plexi-glass or lexan to put on the side of your instead of the door. Then insert a light into the case and light some incense right in front of the air intake on your case. (The smoke from the incense won't cause any problems to the hardware as long as you don't do this to often.) Turn on the system so the air will be drawn in and have to light on so you can see how the air flows throw you case. Then if you need to put a fan some place you can place it with much greater knowledge. You can even put the fan through the plexi so can see how it effects the air flow in the case.
Just some thoughts, hope they help a little at least. :)
If you have not cut the case yet, consider putting the 120mm blowing in directly over the HSF. all three 80mm fans exhaust. Your Radeon will get plenty of air and your CPU will be very happy.
