MSI GD80 vs. GD85

On the GD80, there's a 3rd heatsink in series with the whole VRM cooling but the GD85 is missing the 3rd heatsink. What was it cooling before that it isn't now? Chipset? Did they move it around?

I'm wanting to say its just additional heatsink for the vrms. It isn't covering any actual chips.

If you scroll down he shows a naked picture of the board without the heat pipe assembly.

I suppose that is the best answer, it's joining the SB as well.
