Hi All

i m going to build my own PC

Finally i narrowed down my choice to i5-750 and i7-860:confused:
Kindly suggest me which one is good and the Mobo for the same..:bang head

Purpose: Internet surfing /downloading,Music,HD Moovies,HD Games
Budget for PC: $1100

your valuable suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanx in advance

I would go i5 750 for the uses you listed so you can save ~$100.

Is there any special features you want in a motherboard? SLI/Xfire? USB3.0/SATAIII?

Which games? Because so far I haven't heard anything that would justify a desktop PC over a solid laptop which would give you portability. That aside evga is standard faire for both the LGA1556 and 1366 sockets like the person who posted above you. That would be a solid place to start, that or Asus.

Check this board out http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130239. It has USB 3, Crossfire and SLI and its a great overclocker. I have an MSI Bib Bang Fuzion and the OC Genie works well. Also it will overclock to 4.0ghz easy. Also if you want an extreme board and are okay with open box check this out http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130238R. This board supports Triple Video Cards and overclocks better.

Eh, not a fan of buying out of the box desktops :/

If you're willing to step up to 1366, than the MSI BigBang xPower is a good mobo. It's getting really good reviews, and my dad just ordered one for his computer, so i'll have some hands on time with it soon.
